A nonprofit arts hub in the heart of downtown Black Mountain, the Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) lives in the beautifully restored former town hall building.
With a mission of “bringing the arts to the people and people to the arts,” BMCA offers year-round programming including gallery exhibits, concerts, theatre, classes, and workshops for all ages in music, dance, visual arts, writing, and more.
Visitors can enjoy rotating exhibitions in the upper gallery, attend community concerts and performances, enroll in classes from pottery to ballet, or take part in signature events like Art in Bloom and the Auction for the Arts.
Open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (and during select event hours), the building welcomes free access to its gallery, gift shop, and general public spaces.
