Tap & Jazz Dance Instructor

BMCA Dance is seeking a passionate, community-minded Tap and Musical Theater/Jazz Instructor to take over a Tuesday afternoon dance block starting in January 2027 as part of our inclusive and values-driven dance program. The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency, rhythm-driven musicality, and a welcoming teaching style that fosters a supportive and empowering space for youth, tweens, and teens.

This part-time, 1099 contract position involves teaching three back-to-back weekly classes on Tuesday afternoons/evenings, creating syllabi and lesson plans, choreographing pieces for our annual spring recital in May, and maintaining clear communication with student families and BMCA administration. Our program prioritizes accessibility, creativity, and artistic expression—and we are looking for an instructor who shares those values.
