Quietude is a micro retreat and event center for workshops, business meetings, retreats, and social gatherings focused on the healing arts, wellness in mind, body, and spirit, creativity, and contemplative experiences.

Originally called Pine Lodge, the property was established in 1926 as a hunting and fishing lodge. Appointed in simplicity, the property is situated on 2 wooded acres and includes 9 cabins, the Lodge and outdoor gathering spaces. Flat Creek runs along the rear of the property. Located a mile from town and a short distance to the 21 hiking trails in the town of Montreat, the location allows easy access to many off-site activities. With a newly renovated kitchen, the Lodge at Quietude accommodates up to 30 guests. The second floor features a small reading room and two offices, all of which can be used for breakout meetings.
