Friends and Neighbors of Swannanoa (FANS)

FANS grew out of the vision that community members saw as steps to joining for common causes in 2006. Out of that first community-wide meeting, grew Swannanoa Pride Community Coalition, which spearheaded many projects, including some that continue to this day under the auspices of FANS. In addition, FANS has seized on opportunities to enhance Valley life through new projects that foster community-building and shared responsibility.
