Join us for an open memoir workshop series designed to help you explore and write about your own lived experiences.

Workshop Details:

Tuesday afternoons, beginning June 2, 2016

Time: 1:00–3:30 p.m

What to Expect:

• Themed sessions (e.g., What Holds You Back?)

• Majority of time spent writing

• Supportive, non-judgmental environment (no criticism or edits)

• Optional sharing opportunities

• Guided by Mary Karr's acclaimed book 'The Art of Memoir'

Materials: Notebooks and pens provided. Bring a laptop or tablet if preferred.

Facilitator: Martha Scarborough is a long-term writing teacher who discovered the power of memoir while teaching in a Massachusetts women’s prison.
