Celebrating Small Business Week at The Hop

Happy Small Business Week, folks!

This week is all about the small, family-run spots that work so hard to provide the community with what is uniquely theirs. For The Hop, that means handcrafted dairy and vegan ice cream, but if you have known The Hop at any point over the last 47 years you know it goes WAAAAAAAYYYY deeper than that. 

The longer Ashley and I are a part of The Hop, part of the small business community in Asheville, the more our purpose, our ethos is strengthened. Happiness through ice cream is about doing what we can to make sure people we work with (customers, Hopsters, collaborators, etc.) are in a better place when they leave than when they started. Beyond that our role is to uplift the organizations in WNC that are creating opportunities for others, especially children, with an emphasis on literacy and education.

Here are some of the offerings we are focusing on this week. Expect some surprises as well!
