Join an educator from the Friends of the WNC Nature Center who will introduce two live animal ambassadors native to the Valley and explore the fascinating connections among the region's plants, animals, and people. Learn how human activity has shaped local wildlife over time and discover how conservation continues to influence the future of the Southern Appalachians.
