SUMMARY:Berry In The Pines Ice Cream Release
DESCRIPTION:To kick off National Forest Week\, we’re bringing back one of our favorite recent special releases: Berry In The Pines! \n\n🫐 Berry In The Pines Ice Cream Returns for National Forest Week\n📅 Saturday\, May 31\n📍 All Locations of The Hop\n\nIt will be available dairy and vegan while supplies last.\n\nOriginally created for the National Forest Foundation Conference held in Asheville earlier this year\, this flavor was inspired by the forests\, trails\, rivers\, and mountain ecosystems that shape so much of life in Western North Carolina.\n\nBerry In The Pines features a bright citrus-pine ice cream base infused with local Fraser fir tips and swirled with an Imladris Farm blueberry jam.\n\nAs part of this release\, we’re also excited to highlight some of the work being done in our region by the National Forest Foundation.\n\nOne project especially close to home is the reopening of Catawba Falls in Pisgah National Forest. After a multi-year closure and extensive improvements\, visitors can once again experience the falls thanks to upgraded trails\, overlooks\, and safety infrastructure that also help protect the headwaters of the Catawba River.\n\nThe National Forest Foundation has also been supporting storm recovery efforts throughout Pisgah and Nantahala National Forest following Hurricane Helene\, helping rebuild recreation infrastructure like the Poplar Boat Launch on the Nolichucky River and partnering with Southern Highlands Reserve to restore high-elevation red spruce forests across the Southern Blue Ridge.\n\nWe’re grateful for the work being done to protect and restore the places we love\, and excited to celebrate it with ice cream 🙂
